Marshal Cares

With the objective of giving back to the society, Marshal Exports helps the local people through its Corporate Social Responsibility programmes under the initiative called ‘Marshal Cares’.

With key focus on the two pillars of education and health – the basic foundation for any development – we hope to make a small but significant impact in the lives of those around us.

Women’s Literacy

Educating women is not really a priority in our region, and in family of limited means a lot of girls grow up with little or no reading and writing skills

Our literacy programme is a unique chance for women to gain a degree of self-sufficiency. The company finances the education of women in the age group of 12 to 40, covering all expenses from school fees to books.

It is a matter of pride for us that many of our students who began in primary classes have gone on to complete school and have even attained university degrees.

A part of ‘Marshal Cares’, for over 15 years, this initiative began with 15 -20 students. As the company has grown, we now finance over 600 students and aim to reach a 1000 within the next couple of years.

Children in Need

Of course, there are those children who would shine if only they were able to afford an education. Funding the schooling of needy children is an important part of our education initiatives; an all-expense paid opportunity for a brighter future.

Healthcare

Marshal Exports’ healthcare initiative helps finance the medical expenses of the underprivileged section of society, with an emphasis on children.

Every year, a fund is earmarked for this purpose and dozens of medical operations are financially helped with.

Over the past years, through this programme, we have tried to help the distressed and those in need of medical aid. The initiative continues to gather momentum as the company grows.
